The Auglaize County Crisis Center is a United Way participating agency.

“This publication was supported from a Victim of Crime Act (VOCA) and/or State Victim Assistance Act (SVAA) grant award administered by the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.” “ Victims of federal crimes will be served.”

The Auglaize County Crisis Center is supplemented by the marriage license fees put forth within Auglaize county and the kind donations from local individuals, churches, and organizations.

If you or someone you know are afraid or need a safe place to think or stay:

Pre-plan, how do you get out of your home safely? Where can I go? Make an escape plan in advance. Get to a safe place.

Call 911 for 24-hour emergency service. Call the Auglaize County Crisis Center 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Should the worker be unable to come to the phone, leave your name and a contact number and a staff member will return your call shortly. For an immediate response you can call 419-738-6565 and request that the on-call staff member for the Auglaize County Crisis Center to return your call.

What Will Happen When I Call?

  1. Step 1 Your call will be answered by a professional who will help you assess what you need.
  2. Step 2 Tell the worker where you are and the number of the phone you are calling from. If your call should be cut off, the staff member can then get back in touch with you.
  3. Step 3 A safety plan will be established.
  4. Step 4 If you or your children need shelter or transportation, arrangements will be made.
